Have YOU been offered stolen goods?

MEMBERS of the public are being asked to help police deal with a burglary that took place in Warrington last month.
A number of high value items were taken in the raid on a house in Valiant Close, Padgate on April 15 – and police are anxious to trace them.
Officers from Warrington East Neighbourhood Policing Unit are currently piecing together as much information as possible about the incident.
Now they are urging anyone with any information about the burglary – or anyone who might have been offered any stolen goods – to come forward.
PC Paul Jukes, from Warrington East NPU, said: “Various items including a plasma television, games console and clothing were taken during the incident and we are keen to speak to anyone who might have witnessed the incident or who might have been offered these goods.
“All pieces of information are useful and I encourage anyone who can help to get in touch. Any information – even the smallest amount – really can make a big difference.”
Four young men, aged 23-17, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle. They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Anyone with any information that could help police with their enquiries can contact Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
Residents can leave a message for PC Jukes via the Warrington East Community Action Team number – 0845 458 6390. This number has a voicemail facility and all messages and regularly checked and responded to.
