FOREIGN students will be among the guests at an International Karate Seminar being held in Warrington on Saturday May 10.
GEN’DAI Martial Art is organising the event at Warrington Peace Centre and the aim is for foreign students to get to know the team and to evaluate its facilities.
Club spokesman Emmanuel Dupuis said: “The aim is to set up a regular event every year where children from various countries will come in order to discover each other’s culture through a common hobby, the karate shotokan.”
GEN’DAI visited clubs in Germany, France and Ireland last year, to meet members and see their facilities. Now the Warrington team has invited people from France, Germany and Ireland on a return visit.
