WORK on sewers will mean the temporary closure of a busy road and footpath from Friday.
The closure affects Common Lane, Culcheth, from its junction with Wigshaw Lane to its junction with Twiss Green Lane, and is expected to be in place for two weeks.
The alternative route will be via Wigshaw Lane, Hob Hey Lane, Common Lane and vice versa.
The restrictions are to allow for the construction of a new sewer connection associated with an adjacent development.
