Students perform on Broadway

HOW are they gonna keep ’em in Loushers Lane, now they have seen Broadway?
Performing arts students from Warrington’s Priestley College were given a taste of the glitzy life on a trip to New York which took in two live shows on Broadway.
Industry professionals gave the group a dance workshop at The Actor Temple after they had been on a tour of the NBC studios the day before.
No trip to New York would be complete without a trip on the Statten Island Ferry to visit the Statute of Liberty, which the students went on after taking in their second performance of the trip, “Hairspray.”
Second year student Oliver Ellison commented: “It was really fun and a great laugh with the opportunity to do plenty of acting and dancing. The highlight for me was just being able to experience such a trip with close friends and it’s something that I will remember for a long time.”
