Hot Fuzz is a new Simon Pegg film with a rich assortment of supporting roles. The first one third was the best part in my opinion as it established the plot. It was fun to see famous mature actors in minor parts– including Cicero and Pompey from the BBC’s ROME series. The movie title “hot fuzz” is a hint that it is meant to sell tickets to the young who enjoy loud sounds accompanying senseless violence. Still, I’m not angry about spending the $9 for a ticket or $2 for parking. My grandson thought Shaun of the Dead was better.
