PLANNING chiefs are to visit a Green Belt house at Lymm before deciding whether to approve proposals for an indoor swimming pool.
The development at Corn Heyes, Crouchley Lane, would involve an extension to the existing house, Warrington’s planning committee was told.
Neighbours have objected on the grounds of loss of outlook, dominant impact, overshadowing and noise from pumps.
Cllr Ian Marks also expressed concerns over the excessive scale of the extension, loss of light to an adjoining property and noise from pumps.
Officers recommended the scheme should be approved. They argued that the development would not have any significant impact on neighbouring properties, nor conflict with the openness of the Green Belt.
But the committee decided members should visit the site before reaching a decision.
