BENEFICIARIES and support workers at the Walton Lea Partnersh8ip have been making lots of fun things to sell over Christmas – the proceeds of which will then be re-invested back in the charity.
The team have been making wooden reindeers which are then sold at the Walton Lea Walled Garden, off Chester Road, Higher Walton and at the Long Lane garden centre in Warrington.
Reindeer production will be continuing until the December 23.
The support workers are also making plenty of other festive things in the workshop such as bird boxes, sheep, reeves and homemade hampers to sell. The farm shop will also be selling Christmas treats including chutneys, fudge and local apple juice.
Upcycled bicycles are also on sale for families over the festive period – all great gifts for family and friends.
On Tuesday, December 9 a local community church group is visiting the Walled Garden from 2-4pm and will be giving a number of demonstrations, refreshments, etc.
