MORE than 70 delegates attended a special meeting of Cheshire Police and Crime Panel when the focus was one domestic abuse.
Key professionals came together to share ideas and discuss the problem and its effects, including how organisations tackle domestic abuse and where people can get help.
Panel chairman Cllr Howard Murray said: “We have been working with
professionals and key stakeholders across Cheshire to discuss domestic abuse, which will be the focus of our next panel meeting on November 14.
“I would encourage all residents to get involved and send in your questions about domestic abuse.
“Having your say means you can play a part in shaping your local area.”
Residents of Warrington can get involved in the discussion in a number of different ways…

The panel serves Warrington, Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester and Halton.
Deputy chairman Cllr Alex Black, said: “The panel has the power to scrutinise the Police and Crime Commissioner activities but not the work of the police. Please send in your questions and get involved today.”
