WARRINGTON Wolves go head to head with former boss Jimmy Lowes who takes charge of Bradford Bulls when they visit The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday afternoon kick off 3pm.
The two sides have met twice so far this year prior to Lowes (pictured below) being placed in charge; once in the league and once in a Tetley’s Challenge Cup tie.
Bradford won the league encounter at Odsal; a defeat kick-started the Wolves’ good run of form now sitting on seven wins on the bounce. The Wolves got payback in the quarter final Cup tie earlier this month.
This week saw Sunday’s visitors name former Wolves’ coach Jimmy Lowes as their new leader making for an interesting encounter come Sunday afternoon, 3pm.
Lowes took charge at the Wolves following the departure of Paul Cullen and then assisted Tony Smith before leaving to join Leeds Rhinos. More recently he has been involved in Rugby Union at Leeds.
