TWO further flood warnings for the Warrington have today been issued by the Environment Agency – Kingsway North and Howley.
Both areas are at risk because of high tides on the Mersey Estuary – and one property at risk is the ambulance station in Farrell Street.
At Kingsway, the areas at risk include Bennett Avenue, Princess Avenue, Bibby Avenue, Peacock Avenue, Kingsway North, industrial units behind Farrell Street, the ambulance station and nearby allotments.
At Howley, the areas at risk include the Riverside Retail Park, Wharf Street and the Wharf Street industrial estate, Riverside Close, Parr Street, Cleeves Close, Harbord Street, Fairclough Avenue and Sutton Street.
