VILLAGERS tuurned back the clock for the annual Lymm Dickensian Festival Christmas celebrations.
The village was packed for the traditional parade, which set off from the Lymm Hotel as local school children dressed in fancy dress costumes.
Despite over cast skies the rain held off for the parade.
The event was organised by volunteers, led by Festival chairman Steve Harper and backed by Lymm Parish Council.
Town crier Peter Powell (pictured right) started proceedings as he led the parade through a packed village centre, bringing a boost to local traders.

Top picture shows Thelwall Morris taking part in the parade and (above) pupils from Cherry Tree Primary School in festive costumes.
