Christmas tree recycling in aid of hospice

WARRINGTON charity St. Rocco’s Hospice is once again organising a Christmas Tree Collection recycling service on the weekend of January 11 and 12.
The hospice has again teamed up with Warrington Borough Council to run a Christmas tree collection service to raise valuable funds for the hospice. In January 2013 the Christmas Tree Collection raised an amazing £5000 for the hospice and this year they hope to collect double the amount of trees! The collection will be run solely by volunteers supporting the hospice and with support from the council. The collection will be done throughout Warrington and will take place over the weekend following the 12th night.
Over this weekend St. Rocco’s team of volunteers will collect Christmas trees in return for a donation to the hospice. All Christmas tree collection bookings must be made before Friday January 10 at 12pm. Every penny raised going towards caring for hospice patients and providing support for their families.
If you would like to make a Christmas tree collection booking please go to www.stroccos.org.uk or call 01925 579211.
