PATIENTS, carers and members of the public in Warrington are being encouraged to get their nominations in by December 31 for Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Trust’s Patient Choice Award.
The Trust provides local NHS services in clinics, health centres, patients’ homes and walk-in centres and the aim of the award is to help
recognise the Trust staff who regularly go above and beyond for patients and their families and as a result make a big difference to their lives.
Anyone can nominate a Bridgewater staff member for the award by either filling in a Patient Choice Award form at their local clinic or health centre or by completing the online nomination
form at www.bridgewater.nhs.uk/news/patientchoiceaward/
Bridgewater’s deputy chief executive Mike Treharne said: “Our staff work tirelessly to deliver the best possible care for our patients and we want to make sure that we celebrate their continued efforts and hard work with the launch of this new Patient Choice Award.
“The award gives people in the local communities we serve the chance to tell us about the receptionists, health visitors, nurses, speech and language therapists, podiatrists and other staff who have provided them with exceptional care and support.”
Finalists will be shortlisted in early January and the winner will be announced at Bridgewater’s staff awards ceremony next March.
