Rugby World Cup live on hospital radio

PATIENTS in the Warrington Hospital will be able to follow the locally staged Rugby League World Cup games on the Radio General, the radio station for the hospital.
Radio General has also received accreditation to broadcast live commentaries of the opening games at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, today, Saturday, as well as the games being played locally.
Keith Inman, Secretary, said “It’s great that in the year we are celebrating our 60 years of providing rugby commentaries of the Warrington Wolves we are able to cover the Rugby League World Cup.”
The commentators will be Adrian Jackson & David Parkinson, who also present the weekly rugby league programme on a Wednesday at 7:00pm.
