Morley set for Grand farewell

IT will be a highly emotional occasion when Warrington Wolves skipper Adrian Morley leads the team out for the last time in the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford on Saturday.
As Morley attended the photo call alongside Wigan Skipper Sam Tomkins, (pictured above) who is also set to play his last game before heading off to New Zealand, he said: “Playing my last game for Warrington is going to be extremely emotional.
“Winning would be the icing on the cake and a fantastic farewell. It has been a fantastic honour to represent Warrington and to be club captain.”
Morley, who has 53 international caps, four Challenge Cups and a Super League title to his name, has decided to fulfill his life time ambition to play for his home town club.
“I was born in Salford and supported Salford as a young lad, and I still live in the area now so I’ve always had that burning desire to represent my
hometown.”
Meanwhile another Warrington Wolves’ player looking to leave on a high is Prop Mike Cooper, who admits to being a big Manchester United fan.
“To play my last game for Warrington in the Grand Final at Old Trafford is a dream come true,” said Mike.
“There are a few lads playing their last game for the club and we all want to go out on a high.
“We know what it feels like to taste defeat in the Grand Final and we don’t want to experience it again.”
