Buses back to normal tomorrow

BUS services in Warrington will be running as usual tomorrow (Saturday) following the strike by drivers and backroom staff which took all Network Warrington service buses off the road today.
The next strike – the second in a planned series of seven – is scheduled for Saturday, September 21.
Workers at Network Warrington who are members of Unite are taking the action over a pay freeze.
The company says the staff have had annual pay rises for the last 16 years and they are “extremely disappointed” at their stance.
Network Warrington say holders of Touch and Go tickets, Westy Way and Breezer tickets will be credited for the loss of travel.
