Festival looking for new helpers

ORGANISERS of the annual Lymm Festival are looking for new people to help them run next year’s event.
Following the success of this year’s Festival, the Committee is now starting to plan for 2014.
Chairman Chairman Ian Marks said,”We are extremely grateful to all the people who help us in all sorts of ways to put on the Festival. Putting on over fifty very different events is a major task and requires a huge amount of effort. On top of the main eleven day Festival in June we run ‘Winter Warmers’ and this year these were all sell-outs. We are planning to do this again and we have already organised a Jane Austen evening with Robert Powell on 24 November at Statham Lodge.
“To help spread the load we are looking for volunteers to help out with marketing and promotion, and managing the website. We would also like to hear from anyone with skills in health and safety, insurance and raising money through sponsorship.”
Any one who would like to get involved in some way please call Ian on 01925 753051 or email him at [email protected]
