MORE than 70 students at Culcheth High School had their achievements recognised at a special presentation evening.
Academic achievement was the main focus for students in Year 9, 11 and 13, including special awards for Art and for Engineering donated by BAM and BDP, the companies responsible for the new school build in 2010.
The Rotary Club also presented two awards, for Technology and for Community Service.
For the first time this year, the school also celebrated achievement outside the traditional subjects. Students from Years 7 to 11 were nominated for their attendance and contribution to wider school life.
