CULCHETH’S Daten Football Club is celebrating its 65th anniversary with a family fun day and youth tournament.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 27 and among the guests will be coaches from Liverpool FC Academy.
The tournament will be for Under 9 and Under 10 teams and the club is looking for up to 20 teams to take part.
The tournament will be run on a league format.
Highlight of the day will be a match between Daten FC 1st team and Burscough, the Northern League premier division and FA Trophy winners.
There will also be a display of sports equipment and the club also hope to have climbing walls and zorbing as additional attractions.
