Raiders steal cash machine

DETECTIVES are appealing for information after an ATM cash machine was stolen from a convenience store in Warrington during the early hours of today (Wednesday July 3).
At around half past midnight, thieves broke into Central Stores on Central Avenue, Orford and stole a stand-alone cash machine from the premises.
The thieves left the scene in a white transit van. It is not known at this stage the value of the theft.
Detectives are keen to speak to any local residents who may have seen anyone behaving suspiciously in the area at the time, any particularly any witnesses who may have seen a white Transit type van in the area.
Anyone with any information should contact Warrington CID on 101 quoting incident 29 of 3 July.
It is the second incident in a week with a similar raid at a newsagents on Concord Place, Orford, last Friday.
