A BAND made up of former Culcheth High School students kept the crowds entertained at the Culcheth Community Campus family fun day, held to help promote local sports clubs and the facilities available.
The day was jam packed with events and activities, from fire lighting with the scouts to gymnastics displays healthy walks and live performances from local bands.
Original Replica (pictured, top) headlined the day and played an hour set, and there were also performances from local choir The Village Voices and Culcheth High School’s own choir.
As well as music, there were other activities including fire lighting and gymnastics displays, and a total of £300 was raised for the school’s Culcheth 2 Soweto project.
Chris Elcoat, Duty Officer at Culcheth Community Campus said: “It’s great holding these fun days, families enjoy coming down for something different to do and it is a great opportunity for our clubs to demonstrate what they offer at our site. We are pleased with how successful today has been.”
