NETWORK Warrington’s Managing Director David Squire has left the company to take up a position with another operator.
The immediate release of David (pictured right) from his contract at the bus company was to enable him to deal with his wife’s illness prior to taking up his new post.
Chair of the Board, Mrs Maureen Banner, said “I have expressed on behalf of the Board our thanks to David for all his hard work. The Board of Directors and all the staff join me in wishing David and Sharon every good wish for their future.”
At a recent board meeting it was unanimously agreed to appoint Mrs Ann Marie Slavin as interim Managing Director for a period of six months.
Chair, Mrs Banner, added: “Ann Marie will play a critical role over the next six months in helping to reshape the company. The Board has every confidence that with her executive team and the support of the Board she will lead the company through this difficult period.”
