Stone Roses tribute

IT was only last summer that Warrington’s Parr Hall played host to “The Stone Roses” when the band got together for their first gig in 16 years.
Now the town’s top venue is staging the nearest thing possible to recreate that occasion – The Clone Roses.
The top tribute band will be in town on Saturday, June 15, performing all the classics such as “Waterfall”, “Made of Stone”, “This is the One” and of course “I am the Resurrection.”
The Clones have been touring up and down the UK for more than a decade, playing to sell out crowds week in week out.
A Parr Hall spokeswoman said: “The band’s attention to detail is admirable, from the clothes and instruments to the Manc swagger and stage mannerisms, while the musical and sonic accuracy of their performance is second to none.”
The show gets under way at 7.30pm.
