Knife man in store raid

A MAN brandishing a large knife got away with cash from a convenience store at Warrington.
The raid was at the Co-op store in Dudlow Green Road, Appleton, at about 1.38pm on Tuesday, May 21.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
The man entered the store and approached the checkout brandishing the knife and demanding money.
He then made off along Dudlow Green Road in the direction of Petersham.
Nobody was hurt during the raid, but staff were left badly shocked.
The offender was aged between 20 and 22 and of slim build. He was about 5ft 10 inches tall and had fair coloured stubble. He was wearing a dark coloured top.
