Golden Square scoops three awards

GOLDEN Square shopping centre has won three top industry awards for retail marketing.
It snapped up the Best use of Digital Marketing award, for a campaign that saw the creation of a new fashion website, stylish e-newsletters, a mobile site and an enormous boost in social media engagement, with 66% increase in Facebook likes and a 317% increase in Twitter followers.
The shopping centre was also recognised with Purple Apples for their community campaign ‘Get Creative’, and their Summer Camp was given recognition in the best event category.
Golden Square’s General Manager, Ian Cox said: “We’ve worked especially hard on our digital strategy over the last couple of years and it has paid off.
“Winning this award and being merited for our other entries shows our dedication to providing an enjoyable and diverse shopping experience.”
The BCSC Purple Apple Marketing Awards recognise new industry standards in innovation, delivery and performance within retail marketing across the UK.
