LEARNING is child’s play at St Monica’s Pre-School in Appleton where a special fun week is offering youngsters the chance to test drive the facilities for themselves.
Free stay and play sessions will be on offer at the Pre School in St Monica’s Close, between 1pm and 2pm on May 15 and between 9.30am and 10.30am on May 16 and 17.
There will also be an opportunity for parents to view the surroundings and meet the management team at an open evening on May 16 at 7pm, while an open day between 1pm and 3pm on May 18 is a chance for youngsters to get involved with outdoor games, craft activities and nature walks.
Staff at the Pre-School, which offers early years education for children from age three, have been praised by Ofsted for having “an excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and actively promoting the individuality and uniqueness of each child.”
Flexible funded sessions between 8.45am and 3.15pm are available.
Rebecca Shattock Pre-School Leader said: “I am very proud of all we achieve at St Monica’s Pre-School. We have happy children, parents and staff. Our fun to learn week is our opportunity to share what we do with the wider community”.
