Fire in roof space

FIREFIGHTERS were called to the scene of a fire in a derelict building at Glazebury, near Warrington.
The blaze was in the roof space of the building in Warrington Road and involved bitumen-covered roof sheeting.
Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze using one hosereel jet and one main jet.
Electricity North West were called to the scene to isolate live electrical cables.
Two fire engines from Warrington were involved in the operation.
