Motorists warned of delays

MOTORISTS have been warned to expect delays on the A57, Manchester Road, Warrington as a result of network improvement work being carried out by Electricity North West.
The work, which is expected to take about seven weeks to complete, is on Manchester Road between Warburton Bridge Road and junction 21 of the M6.
A temporary speed limit of 30mph will be imposed and temporary traffic lights will be in operation.
A spokesperson for Warrington Borough Council said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused while these essential works are carried out.”
