TWO men have been arrested following an attack on a 27-year-old man at Warrington.
The pair – aged 31 and 25 – have both been freed on bail, pending further enquiries.
But police are still seeking information from the public about the incident at the junction of Orford Lane and Leonard Street at 9.30pm on Monday, April 8.
The victim of the attack became involved in an argument with two other men, which resulted in him being assaulted.
He suffered cuts and bruising to his face and bruising to his upper body and required stitches at hospital.
Police are carrying out a number of enquiries, including monitoring local CCTV.
PC Jordan Trentini said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault, or who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything significant to come forward – even the smallest amount of information can be useful when piecing together a case.”
Anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 or the confidential Crimestoppers hotline 0800 555 111.
