Wedding couple's home burgled

RAIDERS broke into a couple’s home at Warrington – while they were out celebrating their wedding.
They forced open a rear door at the house in Scott Street and made off with a laptop, two televisions, a mobile phone and cash.
A relative who returned to the house in the early hours of the morning discovered it had been burgled.
The raid took place sometime between 4pm on April 13 and 3am on April 14.
DC Alex Reeves, who is investigating the incident, said: “This has had a big impact on the occupants of the property – they were out at the time getting married at their local church and later found out that their house had been burgled.
“Needless to say this ruined what should have been a very happy day for the couple and their family and this has left them extremely upset.
“We are currently carrying out a number of enquiries in the local area in a bid to trace those responsible – this includes house-to-house enquiries and any relevant CCTV or forensic enquiries.
“We would urge anyone who has any information, which might assist with our enquiries, to come forward. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been in Scott Street around the time of the burglary and has seen anyone acting suspiciously.
“We are doing everything we can to trace the stolen items and return them to the couple. We urging anyone who has any information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen items or anyone who is offered similar items to contact us.”
Anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
