THE 15th annual Lymm and district Royal British Legion sponsored cycle ride takes place on May 12 – and organisers are hoping it will be more successful than ever this year.
Poppy Appeal collections raised more than £12,000 in Lymm for 2012-13 – substantially down on previous years because of the economic climate.
Now the Legion is hoping the cycle ride, from Lymm Cross to Knutsford and back, can raised enough to boost the total figure.
