Fire crews from Warrington dealt with two large grass fires – on near the Sankey Canal off Liverpool Road and one off Farrell Street at Howley.
Firefighters used beaters to extinguish both fires.
A number of other grass fires were reported across Cheshire.
Fire crews also assisted police in dealing with a road crash in Folly Lane, Warrington, clearing debris from the road and making a damaged vehicle safe.
There was also a wheelie bin fire in Dakota Drive, Great Sankey which was extinguished using hand appliances.
