Police investigate bin fires

POLICE at Warrington are investigating two bin fires believed to have been started deliberately.
Fire crews were called to a blazing wheelie bin in Watkin Street and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Earlier they had been called to a bin fire close to Woodside Farm on Radley Lane, Orford.
This bin had been wheeled into a wooded area and set alight. and, again, firefighters used a hose reel jet. Fortunately the fire did not spread to trees.
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call police or the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline 0800 555 111.
