A LYMM eatery has chosen children’s charity Brainwave, which has its regional office in Warrington, as its charity of the year.
Chef Aiden Byrne and his wife-to-be Sarah Broadley, of the Church Green, will be raising funds for the charity all year.
On May 14 there will be a charity gourmet evening at the restaurant. Tickets are available from the venue or by calling the reservations team on 01925 752068.
Aiden said: “By giving our time and resources, whilst reaching out to our customers to ask them to engage with our fundraising efforts, we know we will be able to help and support many families in the area, making a difference to their everyday lives.”
Brainwave works with families to deliver individual, home-based therapy and exercises for children with disabilities and development delay, including Autism and Cerebral Palsy. Treatment can range from help with walking to recognising numbers.
The charity set up its third centre, in Birchwood in 2009, which was formally opened by Brainwave’s President, the Countess of Wessex.
