Waste bin blaze

FIRE crews were called to Greenalls Avenue, Warrington early today when fire was discovered involving waste bins and a stretch of fencing.
They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
Damage was caused to two wheelie bins and the fence. One fire engine from Warrington fire station was involved in the operation.
In another, earlier incident, fire crews from Stockton Heath went to Morris Avenue, Westy, when fire broke out involving a car parked on the driveway of a house.
Fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze, using two hose reel jets.
The blaze is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
Although the house was not involved in the blaze, firefighters evacuated the occupants as a safety precaution.
