Totally offensive stand-up comedian

STAND-up comedian Jerry Sadowitz, described as “hilarious but totally offensive,” comes to Warrington’s Parr Hall on Friday March 1.
He is claimed to be a great sleight of hand magician and in 2007 was voted 15th on Channel 4’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups.
Armed only with a pack of cards and a few childish props, Sadowitz hopes to entertain people without traumatising them too much.
His controversial style has also influenced a whole generation of comedians. Sadowitz himself was influenced in the early stage of his career by the “Derek and Clive” sketches by Peter Cook and Dudley Moore.
A Parr Hall spokesperson said: “Punched at the Montreal comedy festival, banned by his mum, thrown out of Australia, Sadowitz continues to hang around the skirts of the entertainment industry like an albatross.
“But why should he disappear quietly into the night? After all….he’s STILL better than the rest and continues to strive for original and uncompromising entertainment!”
Tickets for the event, which is strictly adults only, are priced £18.50. They are available from www.pyramidparrhall.com or 01925 442345.
