A total of 26 employers will be looking to recruit local people at a Jobs Fair taking place, tomorrow, Friday, (Feb 8) at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, organised by Warrington South MP David Mowat.
Those taking part include United Utilities, MPP Global and Sellafield Ltd, as well as local employers such as Warrington Borough Council and Warrington Disability Partnership.
Doors open at 10am and, as well as the opportunity to meet potential employers, there will also be seminars throughout the day on interview technique and apprenticeships.
Mr Mowat said: “Unemployment fell by 11% in Warrington last year, but there is no room for complacency and we can and will do more.
“This fair gives local people the chance to meet local employers and expand their opportunities to find work.”
