Quiz on parking problems

A CONSULTATION exercise on parking problems in Shaw Street, Culcheth has been welcomed by local councillor Chris Vobe.
Complaints about parking, including residents being unable to access their driveways, have been reported to the police and borough council.
A questionnaire is to go to all residents in the street, putting forward three suggested traffic management schemes and asking which they prefer.
Based on the feedback another consultation will take place early next year. The council has also agreed to carry out further parking surveys to gather data for any proposals.
Cllr Vobe said: “I encourage everyone to return their survey forms as quickly as possible, so that the council can collect this valuable data and put a programme in place to address the problem.”
