Dickens of a day in Lymm

THE annual Lymm Dickensian Festival has been hailed a great success after attracting large crowds.
Main Organiser and local Town Crier Peter Powell (pictured right) was delighted with the numbers who turned out to support the annual event.
“There was a large turn out with some people saying it looked like record numbers,” said Peter, who helps co-ordinate the event with a team of volunteers.
Local organisations use the event to help raise much needed funds through street collections and stalls in the village centre.
