Woman cut from car following crash

A WOMAN had to be cut from a car by firefighters after two vehicles collided in Warrington town centre last night (Sunday).
Two fire engines attended the incident at 7.35pm, which involved a silver Peugeot 307 and black Renault Clio, on Parker Street.
The woman was driving the Clio and after being rescued was taken to hospital. She was released several hours later.
The vehicle was made safe by fire crews.
