A DAY of fundraising at Grappenhall Community Library on Saturday will feature a variety of events.
In the morning there will be a police surgery from 10am to 12 noon when residents will be able to discuss issues with local police officers.
At 2pm a Christmas fair will be held with festive stalls, activities for children, cakes and a raffle with prizes including meals at local pubs, an MOT, beauty treatments, a hamper and many other prizes
All proceeds will go towards the running of the library, which is now run by a charity and staffed entirely by volunteers.
Local businesses are supporting the day.
