Tackling cyber bullies

STUDENTS from Warrington Collegiate have been teaching schoolchildren how to tackle cyber bullies.
The performing arts students visited Burtonwood Primary School, and gave an interactive performance to Year 6 students. They taught youngsters about cyber bullying and what they could do to avoid it.
Katie Bonney, lecturer in performing arts, said the work uses Facebook as the central theme and it was first performed at Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival in October.
She said: “The piece was a real talking point at the festival and we have adapted it for a younger audience to explore the world and horrors of cyber bullying.”
