WARRINGTON Town’s Cheshire Cup clash against Runcorn Town tonight, Tuesday will have added spice as a number of “old boys” are set to return.
Runcorn, who currently sit top of the North West Counties Premier Division, will be looking to take a big scalp with Warrington old boys David Ness, Darren Kinsey, Connor Anderson, Andy Potter, Danny Toone and Steve Latham all in their squad, while Danny Salt is the club’s assistant manager.
While Warrington’s main focus is the league, manager Shaun Reid still plans to field a strong line up for the County Cup competition, which is being sponsored by the club’s associate sponsor Peak Associates, for the first time.
The game kicks off at the Abacus Solicitors’ Community Stadium at 7.45pm.
