Town extend unbeaten run

WARRINGTON Town extended their unbeaten league run to five games in a 2-2 draw at Radcliffe Borough.
The home team took the lead after just four minutes when Ben Wharton fired home from outside the box.
Warrington levelled just before the break when a Phil Doran free kick penetrated Boro’s wall taking a slight deflection as the ball found the back of the net.
Warrington took a deserved lead on 59 minutes when Allan Collins tapped in from close range but the home side levelled on 65 minutes when Laquan Esdailled headed home unmarked from a corner.
Town had the best of the chances to secure all three points but couldn’t find a way past the Borough keeper who pulled off several fine saves.
The point saw Warrington move up to 8th in the table but they will need to take their chances if they want to get more out their trip to 5th placed Ramsbottom on Tuesday evening, kick off 7.45pm.
