COMMUNITY football club Warrington Town FC has received a major cash boost with a £1,000 sponsorship deal from local law firm QualitySolicitors Forshaws Davies Ridgway.
Partner Tim Jordan is hoping their business support off the pitch will help the players to kick start a successful season on the pitch.
As the club’s solicitors, the law firm has been associated with Warrington Town for five years. Regulars to the ground will notice their pitch-side banner this season has changed from the blue FDR logo to the distinctive pink and black branding of the national QualitySolicitors network.
Tim explained: “Forshaws Davies Ridgway has recently joined the rapidly expanding national network of 220 QualitySolicitors firms. Our Commercial department will continue to be active as FDR, but all our legal services for individuals such as litigation, personal injury, family, criminal, wills, probate and conveyancing are now being delivered by the firm’s existing lawyers under the QualitySolicitors banner.
“What hasn’t changed is our professionalism and we’re proud to continue to serve Warrington Town Football Club as their legal specialists.”
Club Chairman Gary Skentelbery said: “We are naturally delighted that FDR have agreed to continue their sponsorship as Vice Presidents of our club. The support of the local business community is a vital lifeline as we bid to move the club forward.
“We have invested time and money in improving our sponsors’ facilities which are now amongst the best in the league. As well as enjoying football our Vice Presidents also have great networking opportunities and many have already forged lasting business partnerships as a direct result of meeting up at a match.”
QualitySolicitors Forshaws Davies Ridgway has offices in Warrington, Stockton Heath and Frodsham. For more information ring 01925 230000 or see the website www.qualitysolicitors.com/fdr
