80 attend careers event

MORE than 80 young people attended a careers event at Warrington – and 98 per cent of them applied for a job, apprenticeship or training.
Local business were at the event, organised by the borough council’s career service at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub.
There were real job vacancies and opportunities on offer – and the youngsters were keen to snap them up.
The council also revealed they had 27 apprenticeship vacancies and young people were given help to complete application forms.
