WARRINGTON Wolves have sold more than 12,000 tickets for Saturday’s Grand Final showdown with Leeds Rhinos, as tickets went on general sale from 12 noon today.
The Wolves are bidding to become Champions for the first time since 1955 following Saturday night’s semi-final win over local rivals St Helens 36-18.
This weekend at Old Trafford will be the Wolves’ first Grand Final appearance since the inception of Super League and the support has already reached fever pitch.
Warrington had sold more than 50 per cent of their 23,000 tickets as they went on general sale.
Tickets remain on sale but supporters should be aware that certain priced tickets are now limited and subject to availability with a very limited number of £26 and £31 tickets remaining. These are likely to sell out imminently and are on sale from the club’s ticket office.
Coach travel is also available from WolfWare priced at £10 adult and £8 concession.
