BEAUTY queens from across the country gathered at The Dress Studio in Culcheth, Warrington, to show their support for Claire House Children’s Hospice!
Constance Baldwin, Miss Teen Great Britain 2011, was joined by some of the finalists for the 2012 competition at the boutique.
Claire House Children’s Hospice has been chosen to be the official Miss Teen Great Britain charity, with the sixty grand-finalists fundraising for them in the run up to the competition.
The Dress Studio hosted the event, which gave the girls the opportunity to find out more about the hospice and the work that they do, as well as planning their fundraising activities for them!
Former Miss Cheshire and Miss England finalist Holly Ikin, organises the Miss Teen Great Britain event and commented: ‘It was lovely having all of the girls from across Great Britain in the store (from Kent to Fife!) and they were excitedly planning how they would support the charity.
“I first visited the hospice several years ago and saw the great work that it did for the young people in the area, I am excited for the competition to support Claire House.
Holly also runs The Dress Studio, which specialises in dresses for all occasions – parties, the races, black tie events and much more, meaning the girls were certainly in their element during the day – as it was the perfect place to host the launch day!’
Miss Teen Great Britain 2012 will take place on September 30 in Blackpool and will see 60 girls compete for the title.
The winner will spend her year supporting and fundraising for Claire House Children’s Hospice.
