A WARRINGTON forklift truck company has won a Green Apple Environment Award as part of a campaign to find the country’s greenest companies.
The Carrylift Group, a forklift truck and materials handling specialists, is based at Palatine Industrial Estate.
It competed for the award against 500 other nominations and will receive the award at a presentation ceremony in the House of Commons on November 12.
The winning paper on green issues will be published in The Green Book, an international reference book on good practice. They will also be considered to represent the country in the European Business Awards for the Environment.
Gary Green, service manager for Carrylift, said: “We are extremely delighted and honoured to have won this prestigious award.
“We are committed to leading the industry by minimising the impact our business activities have on the environment as we continue to remain a sustainable and ethical supplier.”
