Home extension refused

A RESIDENT of Warburton Close, Lymm has been refused permission to build side and rear extensions at his home, together with hard-surfacing to create additional parking space.
Borough planning chiefs turned down his application after hearing objections from a neighbour and Lymm Parish Council on the grounds of overlooking, loss of light and surface water run-off.
Planning officers had recommended the scheme be approved and said there was no perceived detrimental impact on neighbours, the character of the street or existing off-street parking provision..
